Saint Monegundis
A mother's cure for blisters.
After her two daughters died, still only children, Monegundis became a hermit. From a single room near the tomb of Saint Martin at Tours, she survived a long depression and developed a reputation for holiness and healing. Of particular note was her blister cure: with a prayer for the visiting ill, she smeared her saliva over fruit leaves then applied the mixture to the wound in the sign of cross.
